Thesis Title
Optimization of trajectories of multiple surgical tools using deep learning for percutaneous surgery and SEEG.
My thesis focuses on computer-aided preoperative planning for percutaneous surgery and SEEG electrode implantation. It consists in studying different methods to optimize the positioning of several needles or electrodes in order to maximize the treatment and minimize the risks and side effects for the patient. My goal during this PhD is to develop planning techniques based on deep learning and to compare them to the usual aggregative approaches or Pareto front.
- Funding: ArtIC project ``Artificial Intelligence for Care” (grant ANR-20-THIA-0006-01) .
- Supervisor: Caroline Essert (ICube - IMAGeS).
