Résumé : With high field MRI at 7 Tesla and above, the boundaries of macro- and micro-architecture in images of the brain are starting to converge. This new level of detail and advanced MRI techniques bring multiple new challenges for neuroimage processing. I will present as a concrete example the framework we developed to segment efficiently the human brain at a resolution of 400µm and beyond. | Résumé : With high field MRI at 7 Tesla and above, the boundaries of macro- and micro-architecture in images of the brain are starting to converge. Ultra-high resolution: some neuroimage computing challenges and solutions
Conférencier : Pierre-Louis Bazin (Max Planck Institute)
Résumé : With high field MRI at 7 Tesla and above, the boundaries of macro- and micro-architecture in images of the brain are starting to converge. This new level of detail and advanced MRI techniques bring multiple new challenges for neuroimage processing. I will present as a concrete example the framework we developed to segment efficiently the human brain at a resolution of 400µm and beyond.
